Former president Jacob Zuma’s uMkhonto weSizwe Party has appointed Bonginkosi Khanyile as national coordinator and volunteer in chief.

He joins the MK Party mere weeks after being fired from Gayton McKenzie’s Patriotic Alliance for attending an MK Party event. 

Khanyile is on trial for inciting the deadly July 2021 riots, which came on the back of Zuma’s arrest for contempt of court.
