In a heartfelt event of love, a lesbian couple coming from West Bengal just recently exchanged swears in a standard event at the Bhagada Bhavani temple in Bhatpar Rani, Deoria district of Uttar Pradesh. Jayashree Rahul (28) and Rakhi Das (23 ), initially from South 24 Parganas district, had their romance unfold in the lively city where they both operated in an orchestra.

Munna Pal, the orchestra owner and a witness to their journey, shared that the couple at first dealt with an obstacle when their ask for marital relationship at the Dirgeshwarnath temple was rejected a couple of days before their ultimate event. Mahant Jagannath Maharaj, mentioning the absence of approval from greater authorities in the district, turned them away, leaving the couple undeterred in their pursuit of joy.

Declining to let challenges moisten their spirits, Jayashree and Rakhi, together with their fans, took an alternative path. They acquired a notarized affidavit for their marital relationship and continued to the Bhagada Bhawani temple in Majhauliraj. In the existence of the temple priest, the couple happily exchanged garlands, strengthening their dedication to each other.
