Windsor police are looking for a suspect following an incident that left a 47-year-old male with a stab wound to his body Jan. 6.
Police responded to a call about a stabbing at a motel on the 2600 block of Howard Avenue just before 3 p.m. and found the victim, who was transported to hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.

Police say the suspect pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim following a verbal altercation in the motel room.
The suspect then fled the scene.
The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 35 years old, with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a black tracksuit and a black jacket.
Police are asking business owners and residents in the immediate vicinity of the incident to review their security surveillance cameras for suspicious activity.
