Man, 34, charged with spray-painting antisemitic messages in downtown Ottawa

Ottawa authorities have actually charged a 34-year-old guy in connection with a series of hate-related spray-painting events downtown in December.

In a release on Friday, the Ottawa Police Service stated its hate and predisposition criminal activity system had actually charged the male with 18 counts of mischief to residential or commercial property.

Cops stated the events happened at night of Dec. 22, when antisemitic signs and other despiteful messages were spray-painted in numerous areas downtown and in the Golden Triangle location.

The guy, whose identity was not launched, was anticipated to appear in court Friday.
