STANFORD, Calif. (AP)– Cameron Brink had 18 points, 5 rebounds and 6 obstructed shots to lead No. 9 Stanford to a 98-38 win over Morgan State on Sunday night.

STANFORD, Calif. (AP)– Cameron Brink had 18 points, 5 rebounds and 6 obstructed shots to lead No. 9 Stanford to a 98-38 win over Morgan State on Sunday night.

Elena Bosgana had 14 points and 6 rebounds, and Hannah Jump included 13 points on 6-for-10 shooting as Stanford (11-1) won its seventh straight home video game.

Laila Fair led Morgan State (4-9) with 8 points and 8 rebounds.

Stanford coach Tara VanDerveer won her 1,198 th profession video game, moving 5 wins far from the all-time record for profession success in college basketball (guys’s or females’s) held by previous Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski.

Stanford took control of the video game early, outscoring Morgan State 29-15 in the very first quarter.

The Cardinal enabled simply 6 Morgan State points in the 2nd quarter and held the Bears to 27.8% shooting from the field in the very first half. Edge was a huge part of Stanford’s success in the very first half, scoring 16 points, obstructing 5 shots and getting 4 rebounds.

At halftime, Stanford led 51-21.

The Cardinal continued to control in the 2nd half. Stanford won the 3rd quarter by a large margin, outscoring the Bears 24-6.

The Cardinal closed their nonconference schedule with a 12-1 record. Their only loss began the roadway versus Gonzaga on Dec. 3.
