Appealing evaluation (from 2018): “May 2020 Update: The counter top is recently beginning to require (minor) touch-ups around the sink itself. We needed to delay the remodel till this summer season, and this counter has actually held up like a champ. I could not be better with this item!
This paint can be a little difficult to deal with up until you master how it uses, my recommendation would be to check it out on a scrap or something prior to using. As soon as I had it, this item was a breeze to deal with.
We just recently bought a brand-new home, and we’re not gutting our primary restroom till next summer season, and I simply could not deal with that 1980s green another day. After checking out a lot of tutorials, I chose to go for it and paint the counter. I LOVE how it came out! Once it was dry for 24 hours, I used a number of coats of poly and let it sit for 72 hours before I let the counter return into typical usage. It’s held up like a dream. I would not utilize any heavy chemicals on it (however I would not encourage those duration), however otherwise absolutely no problems with it.
(I had actually done this formerly with a various color by a various brand name and the result was comparable, it held up like brand name brand-new for a number of months of day-to-day abuse before I chose to repaint due to the fact that I didn’t actually like the color).
I believe this will quickly hold up till we redesign, and it looks excellent too. Certainly much better than that ’80s green!
Side Note: I see a great deal of unfavorable evaluations on this item since it does not hold up for individuals outdoors. USAGE A SEALANT. Do not blame an item if you do not utilize it properly. It’s not brain surgery folks.”–Mistella
