Las Vegas has to be one of the most polarizing cities in the world.

Whenever you run into someone who has been there, the opinions always vary. Some people love it. Some people hate it. But everyone who has been has had their own very distinct experience.

For Victor Wembanyama, as one of the NBA’s most hyped No. 1 overall draft picks ever, the Vegas spotlight was constantly on him when he visited to play in the NBA Summer League.

And, well, let’s just say the Paris Hotel didn’t make Wembanyama feel like he was at home.

Wembanyama seems to have hated it. So much so that he could only describe it as a “dystopia” when asked about it after a game against the Trail Blazers on Thursday.

Honestly, it’s hard to blame him! I can’t imagine he had a pleasant time in Vegas with the media circus that followed him.

Plus, there was the whole Britney Spears thing that went left for him, too. On top of that, Vegas is just generally a pretty wild place. So it’s easy to see why he didn’t have the greatest time.

Wemby isn’t alone in his thinking on this one. Lots of people agree with him.
