“But, it’s legal in America. Why the f ** k is R. Kelly doing all this time?”

Benzino shared his viewpoint that R. Kelly must be provided grace after his convictions for kid sex criminal offenses. As a visitor on the We In Miami podcast, the truth star discussed his ideas on Kelly’s sentencing.
“Everybody is worthy of a 2nd possibility,” he exclaimed after asked if the Chicago vocalist, legal name Robert Kelly, need to be approved forgiveness. “But I understand that Elvis [Presley]… a great deal of motherf ** kers f ** k with 14, 15, [year olds.] Ni ** as f ** k with girls. To keep it 100. I’m not into that. Once again, the legal age is 16 years of ages so, does that make it ideal if a ni ** a does it? Yes or no?”
“If it’s legal, does it make it right if a ni ** a dates a 16-year-old?” he continued to concern, with numerous of the panelists revealing disgust.
Benzino continued, “But, it’s legal in America. Why the f ** k is R. Kelly doing all this time? Since you understand why? They’re 14, and 13. 2 years more youthful. You do not believe that the ones that … You do not believe that the individuals who cleared it for 16 years old didn’t understand that they’re f ** king with 13 and 14, too? Even to make an age that young to be the law, you currently understand they going under that.”

He tried to clarify his declaration by including, “I’m not excusing ni ** as f ** king with little ladies. It’s ill,” he described. “But I do not believe R. Kelly need to rot in prison for 30 years either.
The podcast host continued the discussion, detailing how he still listens to the disgraced R&B star while Benzino declared the criminal justice system did rule out Kelly’s youth injury and called documentaries narrating the criminal offenses as exploitative.
“Them moms and dads of them ladies understood what they was handling, with R. Kelly. A great deal of individuals understood that sh * t.”

In September 2021, Kelly was condemned of 9 counts of racketeering and sex trafficking charges versus him in New York City. He was sentenced to 30 years behind bars in June 2022. In September of that exact same year, Kelly was condemned of 3 of 4 counts of production of kid porn and 3 of 5 counts of temptation of a small to participate in criminal sex in a Chicago federal court.
According to the Associated Press, last month, an appeals court declined the 57-year-old’s effort to challenge his 20-year sentence that arised from the Chicago trial.
“We are dissatisfied in the judgment, however our battle is far from over,” revealed Kelly’s lawyer Jennifer Bonjean detailing strategies to take the case to the United States Supreme Court.
