Jabulani Arts Festival: The Ribbon Rouge Foundation provides the first-ever model of this multi-genre arts fest consisting of theatre, poetry, dance, music, visual art and neighborhood art workshops loaded with African, Caribbean and Black Albertan artists.

Wednesday is a group art opening consisting of Tope Akindele and Elsa Robinson, Thursday a poetry display, while folktale play Ogboingba Tries to Change Her Fate starts its run. Much of the programs is complimentary, consisting of the opening night of the play and the poetry and drumming workshops with Timiro Mohamed and Uncle Eric respectively next Saturday.
