Kaizer Chiefs have identified some exciting, red-hot transfer targets from across the PSL with an emphasis on boosting their attack and replacing their club veterans.

Amakhosi management are in the market for several new positions with most targets coming from PSL rivals.

They are preparing to replace club veterans Itumeleng Khune and S’fiso Hlanti. Furthermore, they want to reinforce their attacking department.

TRIO OF LEFT BACKS LINED UP TO REPLACE AMAKHOSI VETERAN

Three left back targets have already been identified. Stellenbosch FC left back, Basadien is open to moving to Naturena. Furthermore, both parties are on board with the move. Meaning, there is a good chance it could take place in January.

Meanwhile, Bafana Bafana man, Cross, has caught interest from Amakhosi for several months now. So, they have renewed interest in the Golden Arrows man. In addition, Simba SC left back Hussein name has also come up. Moreover, Hlanti’s contract set to expire soon, these three men are the players who are being considered as the club veterans long-term replacement.

ATTACKING RECRUITEMENT A PRIORITY FOR CHIEFS

Mgaga is the most recent transfer target identified by Amakhosi management (at the time of publishing). He is an exciting attacking midfielder who plies his trade for Stellenbosch FC.

“They are looking at strengthening the attacking part of their team. You have seen that the team has a good defensive midfield and now they want to balance it with the attacking midfielders that’s why they are looking at Nhlanhla (Mgaga) from Stellenbosch FC,” the report read on SoccerLaduma.

They have also reignite interest in former Al Ahly striker, Walter Bwalya. They are in the market for a new winger, striker and attacking midfielder as the club looks has identified the need to ignite spark into their attack
