“Alien” Gets A New Preschoolers Book

20th Century Studios and Penguin Random House are collaborating to bring the marvels of Ridley Scott’s “Alien” franchise to the pre-schooler crowd.

Timed with the 45th anniversary of the franchise, Disney is set to launch the kids book “A is for Alien: An ABC Book” next year. The title will belong of its Little Golden Books line and highlighted by the Disney Storybook Art Team.

The summary checks out: “In area nobody can hear you laugh as you read this Little Golden Book including the characters from the timeless motion picture Alien! Follow Ripley and the rest of the Nostromo team on an area experience that presents the alphabet from A to Z.”

Whether C is for Chestburster and F is for Facehugger will be a real thing, we’ll need to wait and see. The book is targeted at kids 2 to 5-years-old and is launching on July 9th 2024– one month before the opening of Fede Alvarez’s “Alien: Romulus” movie in movie theaters on August 16th.

That movie precedes a brand-new “Alien” television series in the works at FX which comes from “Fargo” developer Noah Hawley. Whilst the brand-new movie will be set in between the occasions of “Alien” and “Aliens,” the brand-new series will occur several years prior to the very first, most likely around the time of the occasions of “Prometheus”.
