Android may soon automatically turn Bluetooth back on a day after it’s turned off

Google seems developing out a function in Android 15 that immediately turns Bluetooth back on every day if you turn it off.

Strings in Android 15 develops found by the folks over at Android Authority expose an “car” function that turns Bluetooth back on if it was formerly shut off. Particularly, it immediately turns back on “tomorrow,” a day after it’s been switched off.

< string name="turn_on_bluetooth_auto_tomorrow">> Automatically switch on once again tomorrow<

Why is Google pressing this?

Among the strings talks about functions that depend upon Bluetooth being allowed, such as Quick Share and, quickly, the Find My Device network. Comparable strings appear within the Settings app.

< string name="bluetooth_empty_list_bluetooth_off_auto_on_available">> When Bluetooth is on, your gadget can interact with other neighboring Bluetooth gadgets. Functions like Quick Share, Find My Device, and gadget area usage Bluetooth.<

< string name="bluetooth_scanning_on_info_message_auto_on_available">>”When Bluetooth is on, your gadget can interact with other neighboring Bluetooth gadgets. Functions like Quick Share, Find My Device, and gadget area usage Bluetooth.<

Obviously, the code for this function has actually been sent to AOSP currently, and it’s not unique to Android 15. It’s completely possible Google might make this modification for more than simply the users on the bleeding edge. Remarkably, however, it does not deal with all Android gadgets.
