Kara Lawson hasn’t forgotten that a press reporter innocently missed out on the not-so-secret reality that she’s a previous hooper. Lawson appeared to March Madness media accessibility, rocking a white hoodie with one word on it: HOOPER.
Simply days back, after a big win over No. 2 Ohio State, a press reporter discussed they had a concern “for the hoopers in the space.” Duke head coach Kara Lawson right away cut into the concern, stating, “HOLD UP,” followed with a humorous pointer that she was and still is a hooper.
On Friday, Lawson had not forgotten the unintended small. She used an easy white sweatshirt to a Duke media schedule session with one word on it– hooper– in big letters.
