Amazon shoppers are over the moon with a spray that promises to deter rodents within two weeks rather than harming or killing them, and some say they saw the results even sooner. The Premium Mouse Repellent Spray is £16.99 on Amazon and is getting rave reviews.
AMZ Brand’s non-toxic spray is made of natural ingredients which makes it safe to use around children and pets. It uses peppermint oil and castor oil which means it smells great to humans but has a suffocating effect on rodents, which sends them running away from your home in a humane way.
It’s recommended to clean up any rodent droppings and waste before using. After cleaning, spray the contents of the bottle two times around the impacted area for at least three days in a row. It’s recommended to leave all doors and windows open to provide an escape route for the vermin when first using the product.

One shopper wrote: “As a vegan and animal lover I did not want to trap or kill them and I’ve tried so many products on the market and nothing worked! I came across this product and decided to try it, I like the fact there’s 2 spray features, one is a general spray and the other one shoots longer distances, this came in very handy when trying to spray the loft and certain areas that I couldn’t reach!
“The only advice I would say is be careful what you spray it on as it isn’t see through, it’s has some colouring to it.
