Simone Ashley and Hero Fiennes Tiffin will star in romantic funny ‘Picture This’.
The 28-year-old ‘Bridgerton’ starlet and the 26-year-old ‘After’ star will take the lead in the Amazon Prime Video production, along with a cast consisting of Phil Dunster, Nikesh Patel, Adil Ray, Sindhu Vee, Anoushka Chadha, Kulvinder Ghir and Luke Fetherston, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The plot description checks out: “Single and without a guy on the horizon, Pia (Ashley) runs a stopping working photography studio in London with her friend Jay (Fetherston). As her sibling Sonal (Chadha) prepares to get wed and her mom Laxmi (Vee) advises the resolutely independent Pia to collaborate, a spiritual master at Sonal’s engagement celebration anticipates Pia will fulfill the love of her life amongst the next 5 dates she goes on. As her household steps in, setting her up on a series of progressively desperate arranged dates, Pia starts a humorous however sincere mission genuine love.”
The movie is based upon the Australian motion picture ‘Five Blind Dates’, composed by Shuang Hu and Nathan Ramos-Park.
It will be directed by Prarthana Mohan and composed by Nikita Lalwani.
The movie is being produced by 42, a management and movie and television production business based in London and Los Angeles
Amazon prepares to launch the film on its platform in the UK and “and worldwide”.
It does not yet have a release date.
