Boot gets go-ahead for £140m Manchester office

The designer is now looking for a joint endeavor partner to provide its Grade A workplace plan.

Positioned on the corner of New Quay Street and Gartside Street, the Colloco structure will increase to 16 floors.

Developed by EPR Architects, the structure will be Net Zero Carbon in both building and operation and is targeting an EPC A and BREEAM Excellent rankings.

The Colloco plan forms part of HBD’s ₤ 1.26 bn pipeline

Adam Brady, director at HBD stated: “We are pleased with the preparation approval which is acknowledgment of the worth that a plan such as Colloco will give the city.

“It will be among the most sustainable brand-new office complex in the local market at a time when prominent services are aiming to inhabit area which will support their Net Zero Carbon dedications.”

The task group consists of Arcadis EPR Architects; Asteer Planning, Curtins, Hoare Lea and Ramboll.
