World Bank approves $350 million loan for Costa Rica

SAN JOSE (Reuters) – The World Bank authorized a $350 million loan for Costa Rica to money facilities and environment and catastrophe durability jobs, the lending institution stated on Friday.

The program is to money financial investments in important facilities for flood control and slope stabilization, along with the restoration of bridges and roadways harmed by weather-related catastrophes.

Costa Rica “stays extremely exposed to severe weather condition occasions and natural risks, which increase the effect of these threats,” the nation’s financing minister, Nogui Acosta, stated in a declaration from the World Bank.
