The launch of DPC constructs on Liquid Wind’s collaboration formed in 2020 and the just recently revealed prepare for establishing and marketing 10 extra eMethanol centers in the Nordics by 2027

Inaugurated on February 22, 2024, the center intends to drive technological development, reinforce production capability, and bring sought-after eFuels to market at scale.

As explained, the shared eFuel DPC is the very first of its kind, with a joint research study and advancement (R&D) department, where all 5 partners will work together and innovate to speed up center release.

It will contribute in establishing and improving the technical competence needed to construct eMethanol plants in a way that is fast, effective, and cost-efficient so that they can be released at scale internationally.

By leveraging partners’ ingenious innovations and modular services, the DPC will provide ready-to-build eMethanol plants that are quicker to produce, transportation, construct, and commission, the partners discussed.

The DPC is stated to be a significant turning point that will even more speed up the style and application of eFuel centers capable of providing a small 100,000 lots of eMethanol per year.

3 tasks are presently under advancement in the Nordics, consisting of FlagshipONEthe world’s very first commercial-scale eMethanol center, and the objective is to establish as much as 10 extra plants by the end of 2027.

The plants will considerably add to the worldwide eMethanol market and future emissions decrease in hard-to-abate markets, such as worldwide shipping.

Claes FredrikssonCEO and creator of Liquid Wind, commented: “We are thrilled to be inaugurating the eFuel Design & & Performance Centre, and to contribute with the task advancement knowledge needed for driving the electrification of the transport sector. Our special and long cooperation will continue to lead the green shift and production of sustainable fuels.”
