Super Bowl LIX is set to take place in New Orleans in 2025. Speculation has already begun regarding who could potentially headline the SB Halftime Show. Lil Wayne was recently asked whether or not he would be interested in performing at the NFL‘s big game. During an interview with 4HUNNID, Weezy explained that he hasn’t been contacted regarding potentially headlining the show

“I will not lie to you. I have not got a call or nothing. We praying. We keeping our fingers crossed. I’m working hard. I’ma make sure this next album and everything I do is killer,” he said. “I wanna just make it hard for them not to holler at the boy…I could be like[[Rihanna]. RiRi came out there and just went from year to year to year to year to year.”

As the team’s gears began to turn, we wondered who else from Louisiana would be dope to see at the Super Bowl? Instead of just selecting the Super Bowl headliner, we thought to include possible candidates for the Black National Anthem and the “Star-Spangled Banner,” as well.

Sticking to a theme of Louisiana native musicians, here are some of our picks to rep their home state at Super Bowl LIX.
