4 Tips for 95+ Marks in CBSE Class 10 English Board Exam 2024

CBSE Class 10 board exams 2024 schedule includes the English exam on February 26. Effective strategies, such as reading newspapers and writing about current topics, can enhance vocabulary and grammar skills. 

Additionally, practicing five sample papers is crucial for improved fluency, accuracy, and time management during the three-hour exam.

To score high in English, students need to be thorough with the syllabus and exam pattern and concentrate more on NCERT books. Students must strategise the preparation process before they initiate their preparation.

1. Understanding the syllabus 

The Section-A or Reading Section aims to test the student’s ability to read and comprehend a passage as they answer questions related to the given passage. It is a scoring section, and students must practice at least 1–2 passages daily.

2. Reading section 

Section B, Writing and Grammar, is set to test the candidate’s writing and grammar skills. As far as the writing section is concerned, students must practice writing formal letters and analytical paragraphs. They should go through sample writings.

3. Writing and grammar section 

To score well in Section-C, based on literature and poems, students must read thoroughly and memorise all the chapters and poems in their books and their corresponding authors and poets. The Literature Section has six questions, including long answer types.
