Joshua Bassett remains in a sentimental state of mind.
The 23-year-old star required to Instagram on Wednesday (May 1) to share a bit of his upcoming single, “Golden Years.” In the clip, he’s basing on the beach near the Santa Monica Pier in Los Angeles, Calif., as he checks out the electronic camera and sings: “In the blink of an eye/ We were young ’til we weren’t/ It was enjoyable ’til it harmed/ Now I’m frightened/ That I’ll never ever discover love like yours.”
He captioned the post with a puzzling eyes emoji, and connected the pre-save info in his Stories. While Bassett has yet to expose the release date for the single or any prepare for a complete album, “Golden Years” follows his September 2023 single, “Just Love.”
